A CO2 platform can carry several delivery attachments off one source. They are not interchangeable, and they do not share the same requirements.

Pulse types in surgical mode

The machines we supply offer continuous, single pulse, continuous pulse and ultra pulse delivery, with power, pulse width and pulse interval adjustable per mode.

“Ultra pulse” on a menu is not proof of ultrapulse hardware. Ask how the pulse is generated and ask for the source documentation. It is red flag 5 on the red-flags page.

Fractional sub-modes

Within fractional mode, the platform provides graded delivery levels — a shallow level, a deeper level, a combined level that runs deep then shallow, and a manual level where the operator sets energy, power and pulse width directly.

Manual control is where an experienced practitioner earns their result and an inexperienced one causes harm. Parameter selection belongs to the clinician, which is why this site publishes no parameter tables.

Gynae and vulva attachments

Some CO2 platforms, including the ones we supply, offer a gynaecological attachment alongside the fractional and surgical handpieces.

The presence of an attachment does not establish that the machine is documented, approved or suitable for that application in your setting. Intended use for the gynaecological application depends on the exact model, the attachment, the regulatory documentation and the qualification of the practitioner. Verify all four before assuming the machine may be used for it. This site publishes no indications or claims for that mode.

What is the difference between fractional and surgical CO2 mode?

Fractional mode scans a pattern of microscopic dots with untreated tissue between them. Surgical mode delivers a focused or continuous beam for incision, vaporisation or coagulation. Same source, different delivery and different operator requirements.

Does an included gynae attachment mean the machine can be used for gynaecological procedures?
